Similar messages in the log only merge if they happen in the same frame.

It's odd that if you, eg. spam a glass function with mousekeys, you can get the (x2) and (x3), it seems that this function should merge all similar messages.

I had a look at the notification log today and sadly it looks like there isn't an easy way to do this (well, there's a hack-ish way but it just feels wrong) and a proper fix would probably need a minor rewrite of the log.

I'm okay to do that but I just have one question, is it worth it?
