Support unix socket connection to redis server

Are there any plans to include support of local connection to redis server thru unix socket instead of inet socket address?

Rediscala use akka and akka-io for the TCP/IP level And I don't think there is something for akka. Moreover, people using Redis in production have multiple servers so "unix socket" is useless for them.
