I'm not sure it's allowed but in any case since the feature is really simple you could create an extension that does just that ? It would be standalone this way

Making it a separate extension will make users dont know it exists unless we advertise it somehow in Settings tab or somewhere else. Btw. does UI++ passed GF validation? If yes we could ask then about particular features if it's legal or not.

I could send a private message to know if such feature would be approved sure Maybe if we search the forum we can know already because I thinks anything related to timers is prohibited

I was looking for 'timer' and found out only that some 'auctioneer time keeper' is strictly forbidden. Our timer is very generic and manually started so there is a chance it'll be allowed. Let's see what Shole will tell.
