macOS Monterey: Microphone input does not record anything into waveform

Hi, I've enabled Microphone input in Audio Settings, and when I press Record, all I get is this: (the Microphone input in macOS Audio settings is set to maximum, too) Näyttökuva 2022-4-29 kello 23 52 57
