So you are dragging from the area within Ableton itself? If you drag from the system’s native file browser (finder, file explorer, etc) does it work OK?
It should be compatible all the way back to macOS Yosemite (10.10). Can you post the details of any installation trouble you may be having with the existing release?
Yes, when you get a chance, copy and paste the complete crash report shown in that "unexpectedly quit" window when running the standalone.

Good idea, it should probably just have the selected stretched length filled in there in hours, when it comes up. Having a button to reset it would be a bonus.
It's actually a custom display widget and not strictly speaking a "button", even though you can press it. I intentionally wanted it to be a bit distinct from the other...
There is an options in the Settings drop-down menu to Reset Parameters... is it not working for you?
