Well, only that I can not use it in the current form.

I’m not familiar with the Espressif IDE but mainly do my development on VSCode with platformio (Arduino framework).

is there any chance there will be a port to this IDE?

Hello @mrWheel , thank you for your feature request, we do not currently have plans to create and maintain a platformio/arduino port, however we might consider it in the future.
