How to bind inoremap

I cant bind imap in .vimrc

imap ff something

it doesn't work

When I input double f, it clear it what I type in.

And I

imap f something

That I cant type f in my notes. 😂

Do you have other working commands in the .obsidian.vimrc file? I would like to make sure that the plugin reads it.
