extract geolocation from image metadata

Oftentimes I travel to a place, grab a bunch of photos, then bring those photos into my Obsidian vault to take notes on. When taking photos, most phones today include geolocation data of the photo's location inside the photo metadata.

It would be amazing if Map View had a quick way to extract this geolocation data from each image as a map marker.
