Turning off monitor breaks the tiling

Symptom Once I turn off my monitors, the tiling seems to stop working. It looks like it goes into floating window mode. The only way to reenable the tiling window mode is to log off/reboot the system.

How to Reproduce

  1. Launch several windows
  2. turn off and on monitors

Expected behavior I would like to have krohnkite work even after turning off the screen

Environment

  • Distro: Manjaro
  • KWin version: 5.21.5
  • Krohnkite version: 0.8
  • List of KWin scripts in use: none
