Secondary screen window size not always adopted

Sometimes, using secondary monitors, this happens: I can still drag my windows to that part of the screen, but ofcourse krohnkite snaps them in place. In a float layout I get put something there, but maximizing again only maximizes to not the full screen.

I suspect this is because krohnkite doesn't reload/redetect the screen size properly, however I couldn't find a way to restart krohnkite. kwin_x11 --replace didn't do it
