Hi, has this been tested with apa102 leds Trying to get these working on the esp32 with not much luck

Hello! I've not tried apa102s on the esp32 yet (I've been meaning to) so I'm afraid I can't help you yet. Have you tried the official FastLED release or the Adafruit dotstar library?
