What a disgrace! This... apparition, this unbelievable exemplar of humanity, he is such a waste of time. At first, his companionship fills you with joy and happiness, but then, as soon as you've gotten used to his friendship, you slowly get an impression of the horror within. There's no getting back from that knowledge once you have it. So this is what will happen. First, you will be delighted by his dedication to you. Everything will seem fine. Then, one day, he will come out with some ridiculous accusation against you -- that you're at fault for the lack of adventure in his life, or some made-up story like that. Your arguments in your defense will not be heard. You will decide to think up a future without him. You will strive for freedom, and escape him and his delusions. Eventually, finally, he will be a thing of your past.
