This appears to be because the `camb` conda-forge feedstock defines the fortran compiler as a run requirement which is ... odd.
Pinging @beckermr on this.
pytest 9 has breaking changes 😬 . If we pin to pytest 8 in CI it will probably work (for now...)
As it happens, we do not need this functionality in LSST right now. So it's not urgent from our perspective.
