How to save Docker's data

Hi

I'm happily running the Docker container after a 5' thinkering around. Great job here. Thus I got this intilte question.

For ghost container, I'm using -v /srv/ghost:/path/to/data" which allow me to tar & encrypt the data then c/c to dropbox folder. So, which folder should I save here ? I already found "/home/shout/data" but is everything here ?
