"Visited" color shift for links

Locations and detail-closeups that you have already seen might be rendered in a different color. (Analogous to the way web links work.)

Should the color last forever? Or just the current visit to the world? Or what?

Not thrilled about keeping this info in the database. Keep it in the client? (Would require extra information in client-side action keys.)

I'd actually prefer this not to become the default case, both as an age-author and as an explorer. I feel like it doesn't really mesh with the immersion of looking around a world.
