swipe/glide feature

Open hakova opened this issue 3 years ago • 6 comments

Hi,

Openboard does not allow me typing via swipe on GrapheneOS on Pixel 4a. I was wondering if this feature is available.

Thanks!

Edit: I realized that I installed the Google Play version of this keyboard which is not this fork. I am now trying to compile it as described in README but ran into the following error:

Deprecated Gradle features were used in this build, making it incompatible with Gradle 8.0.
Use '--warning-mode all' to show the individual deprecation warnings.
See https://docs.gradle.org/7.0.2/userguide/command_line_interface.html#sec:command_line_warnings

Any pointers/guidance will be greatly appreciated.

You need to download an external native library as described in the Readme.

Main point of having this repo is to have inbuild glide typing why we need to download external library?
