Breaks 4K & 1440p support - this should be communicated to users.
Bulk of 4K content on Youtube is VP9 only. Took me an hour to realise having this plugin installed and enabled was stopping me from testing out some 4K content on my new monitor.
Great plugin, but this should be communicated mure clearly to users.
On this note, there would be much added benefit offered to users, were there an exception button for 3k and 4k content.
This extension is useful to me for running <2k content for hours on end while keeping the cpu fully available (on a pc with a gpu that can only handle AVC). However I am able to run 4k vp9 @ <30 fps, it just strains the system to the max. Needing to disable the extension in order to access 3k and 4k content when needed / desired is a pain.
Button: Enable 3K & 4K content using VP9 codex
Too bad Google removed support for AVC at higher resolutions :'(
