Not compatible with Pale Moon?

Open endolith opened this issue 9 years ago • 4 comments

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/h264ify/ says "Not available for Firefox 24.9" and same for 24.7.2. Is it really not compatible or it just says it isn't?

I change the install.rdf and with adding Pale Moon GUID to it, the addon works. So please add this fix to your addon to add Pale Moon support.:

Pale Moon em:targetApplication Description em:id>{ec8030f7-c20a-464f-9b0e-13a3a9e97384}</em:id em:minVersion>25.0</em:minVersion em:maxVersion>29.0</em:maxVersion /Description /em:targetApplication em:targetApplication Description em:id>{ec8030f7-c20a-464f-9b0e-13a3a9e97384}/em:id em:minVersion>25.0</em:minVersion em:maxVersion>29.0</em:maxVersion /Description /em:targetApplication

I must remove the "<" and ">" because system show it dirty.

hello

Can you put a link to download the xpi form github WITH A MODIFIED file to support Palemoon.

On the firefox website, the button ''install the addon'' greyed and I cannot even force the download...

It is now relatively simple to support Pale Moon as of version 27.1.0. Please see:

http://developer.palemoon.org/Add-ons:Extensions/Jetpack

However as the Firefox minVersion is (rightly) set to 38.0a1, Pale Moon users would not be able to receive future updates, if this were updated and put on AMO. If this is a concern please see here as an additional option for hosting.
