Can't get plugin to work

Open Imjustjokingwithya opened this issue 4 years ago • 2 comments

Hey! I followed the installation steps:

  • Created a plugin directory in my coretemp folder
  • Created a subfolder in that directory
  • Copied the 64 bit of the RGBplugin into the subfolder

There were no more steps so I ran OpenRGB with the Server SDK enabled and CoreTempClientPlugin appears there in SDK Server tab but for some reason motherboard RGB is not changing colours according to temperature. (I had coretemp open)

Are there any more steps required, did I miss anything? Did I do the steps wrong? I appreciate any help that I could get, thanks you in advance.

Sorry for the extreme late reply. Did you try to change the ControlIdx=0 parameter in the ini file? It's possible the default 0 is not correct for your setup

I'm trying to install the plug-in, followed same steps as [Imjustjokingwithya], whats the "INI" FILE NAME. looked The installation instructions mention the content, but not the file name.
