Using a different laptop on same network

My DJ software is running on a different laptop than the one I’m streaming OBS on. I have created a browser source and entered the IP address of the computer running unbox/DJ software and used that in place of localhost as advised. Both machines are on the same network, but for whatever reason I cannot get it to work. I have pinged each laptop and they can both see each other.

Graemerz if you put the link in a browser does it show the information. that will allow you to know if you other laptop see the apps. Second i know i had that issue and i had to change something in obs because it was not showing the information.

this is how i fix it Make sure hardware acceleration of browser sources disabled. in OBS

DJUcron, ok I’ve put the link into the browser and yes, it appears to be fine. Still not working in OBS though, disabled hardware acceleration as advised didn’t change anything…

Other issue i had was creating the source and just having a small red dot on the top left corner. If this is your issue go to the following YouTube tutorial the guy explain how to fix it. I also had that issue at some point.

Hope this will resolved your issue because beside those problem that i encounter with OBS while setting up the apps. I don't know what could be the issue.
