Got it. It would be nicer if Annoy could detect the presence of AVX in runtime but that's a bit complex unfortunately.

Thanks for the contribution! Since Annoy stores all data in contiguous memory, wouldn't it be enough to just copy that memory buffer and then load from that? I'm not sure...
