Hey.

I thought I did everything right so far, but when I come to the

[SC] StartService: OpenService FAILED 1060:

The specified service does not exist as an installed service.

What could be the reason for this? I need to get this thing fixed to use a DPI app.

It is the previous step, the signtool catdb /u secdrv.cat command, that registers the signed driver of the service. Did this succeed?

The sc.exe qc secdrv queries the configuration of the service. If it tells you that the service does not exist, then the previous command might have failed, or, more likely, you didn't install a game that came with SECDRV or you didn't launch it at least once elevated as is described at the start of the readme.
