Write a Data Flow Document

It would be nice if there was a document that lists the inputs and outputs and intermediate files and what servers do the processing on those files. Probably should name the scripts that do the processing.

probably need both a Structural UML diagram, and a Behavioral UML diagram.

A Sequence Diagram and a Component Diagram would help us conceptually unify.

I generally use draw.io for stuff like this, I don't know what anyone else uses.

Sure. I was just going to write a text document, but I'll look into producing those too
