Shield Controller sticks problem

Hello, the problem I have is rather weird. I have set up my Nvidia Shield Controller with Xoutput but when I push the right or left stick down entirely it will go up, this is hard to explain but I'll do a quick video when I have time. For example, I need this program to be able to play Forza Motorsport Apex and when I look behind my car, if I push my stick down until it touches the plastic of the controller, it looks int front of me. It only does that with the Y axis of my two sticks.
