Tracker errors not visible

Open chewy74 opened this issue 10 years ago • 4 comments

When I get a error that a file is no longer registered with this tracker, which means they removed it from the tracker, Transdroid will still show it as active in green. This is on the main view all list, but when you select the file for detailed view, the indicator is still green, but there will be a error message stating the above.

Not sure if this behavior was intentional... If the tracker removes a file and I am seeding it, I get a connection error with the tracker, so shouldn't the status light turn red and not stay green?

My issue is I end up seeding a lot and rely on the indicator light to tell me if everything is connected and seeing properly. So I always end up seeding a few files that are no longer on a tracker because I had no visual indicator of the error. Any way to change this?

What torrent client are you using? Transdroid does have an error status for torrents that can not download, but parsing the error messages (if any) form the clients can be very tricky.

Here is a screen shot of what I mean. The file was removed because of a repack. https://app.box.com/s/jwf1ei9hjbaxl5vaf9lxq8qdp45bjt2v

The problem is that SOME tracker errors are blocking while some other are NOT. I changed this behaviour as I can not know (as far I I can tell) which are blocking and previously I showed all as a blocking error (red color code in Transdroid) and users reported that this was incorrect.
