Animated texture support
Support for animated textures would be useful for animations: however, the current scheme for exporting textures doesn't support this well.
I'm not sure how this would work for most modeling packages - Maya, Max, C4D, Blender, etc. Is there something specific you had in mind?
I've thought about simply offering a "export everything to separate images" solution, which jmc2obj does, but I'm not fully convinced this will always look better. There are fringe effects on cutouts that most renderers do not handle correctly, and that Mineways attempts to fix. Revisiting, as https://github.com/erich666/Mineways/issues/99 asked about this, too. I'm happy to add special tags or comments for animatable textures in my OBJ and USD export files. I don't know what to do to support them otherwise. Ideas welcome!
