Fix: Digimon Adventure tri (movie) redirection
The movie have 6 title and each title only have 1 episode.
As in anilist, kitsu.io, and MAL state that the movie only have 1 episode for each title. I dont think following fansub that splitting the movie for their release can be use as the rules since almost all of other fandsub will release a movie as a whole and most of the user preffer a whole movie rather than splitted one.
Here example from judas release:
[Judas] Digimon Adventure Tri - 01 - Reunion.mkv
[Judas] Digimon Adventure Tri - 02 - Determination.mkv
[Judas] Digimon Adventure Tri - 03 - Confession.mkv
[Judas] Digimon Adventure Tri - 04 - Loss.mkv
[Judas] Digimon Adventure Tri - 05 - Coexistence.mkv
[Judas] Digimon Adventure Tri - 06 - Future.mkv
Hey @MeGaNeKoS. Sorry for the late reply, this PR required more effort than the others.
Digimon rules were first added in erengy/taiga@dd4c9b4ad14f4d703fce67399acb81a58598cf91 and then updated in e83d8dbb5477cd71e2c3f9b65e12ca6e6f59ea55 due to erengy/taiga#513. HorribleSubs' releases were the most popular ones at the time, so the episode ranges were set accordingly.
Looking at the number of seeders and completed downloads at Nyaa, currently the most popular releases are as following:
- 2DS: 6 episodes
- BlueLobster: 26 episodes
- HorribleSubs: 26 episodes
- Judas: 6 episodes
As far as Taiga is concerned, I admit that redirecting multiple episodes to a single one is problematic: While all episodes are identified correctly, your list will be updated as soon as you finish watching the first one (e.g. 4th movie will be "completed" when you finish watching the 14th episode, rather than the 17th). Currently the only examples of this are Digimon Adventure Tri and Mushishi Zoku Shou.
Given all possible scenarios:
Downloaded eps. | Eps. in rules | Result |
---|---|---|
26 | 26 | All identified correctly but list updated prematurely |
26 | 6 | 1 is OK, 2-6 identified incorrectly, rest unidentified |
6 | 26 | 1 is OK, 2-6 identified incorrectly |
6 | 6 | All is OK |
Best case scenario indeed seems to be the last one. Also considering that the situation with fansub releases is more balanced now, I think we should indeed go with your suggestion.
