[discussion] long-term maintenance of otel-cli
I would like to propose donating otel-cli to the OpenTelemetry community. I've spoken briefly with @displague at Equinix and @austinlparker as my connection to the OTel governing committee and this seems like a good time to do it. I understand there's work to do on the Equinix side of things to get approvals for the handoff, so this might take some time.

While we figure this out, I will continue to keep an eye on issues & PRs here. Equinix folks have offered to make sure the repo & package machinery keeps working until we have an agreed long-term solution.

I'd open the donation issue but it should come from you (I would only mirror your answers to many of the questions).
I will assist with the org migration needs once/if the donation is accepted.

Is this topic still ongoing? This repository has not received any bugfixes in quite some time.
