3-pane layout like transgui?
Transgui has a 3-pane layout instead of having the torrent properties open in another small window. Any chance we could get the same layout on tremotesf for Linux, Windows and Mac? Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about. I think this layout would simplify the layout for most people.

For me personally, I find the current ability to open each torrents properties window separately is actually very handy and provides a less cluttered main UI.
For example: I usually have to look at the file contents of a single torrent and compare them to other torrents we have running. Having the ability to just put these small windows side-by-side to compare them has been incredibly handy! Otherwise, if the design would imitate Transgui's UI design, I would be clicking on a single torrent, go down to the files tab and look over the files of one torrent, try to memorize what files are there and their sizes etc, then click on the next torrent and look over the files there and so on to compare them. This would be much more time consuming (and is actually one of the main reasons why we switched from using Transgui to using tremotesf as a remote client)

It could be optional so that everybody is satisfied. Could make for a bigger selling point over transgui
Imagine an option like View > 3-pane GUI so you can turn it on or off.
Kind of like how "traditional" e-mail clients like Thunderbird and Outlook work. Open each e-mail in a quickview/reading pane, or however the fluff they call it these days, or just not. That pane is just simply visible or hidden. In both cases, doubleclicking an e-mail always opens it.
Tremotesf could follow a similar paradigm.
As for the sidebar, please keep that one optional. I for one, don't usually have so many active torrents that I need a dedicated sidebar with filters. Especially given the fact that sorting usually achieves the same goal as filtering could. To each their own of course, so that's why I would opt for keeping it optional.
Would love to see this feature added, specifically the capability to see torrent properties (file list, etc.) in the same window
