Bug Description

Bug:

Error installing update invalid updater binary format

Expected behavior:

Update installs

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install whispering on Ubuntu 24.04 amd64 (version v7.7.1)
  2. Use the app interface to download and install the update
  3. Update fails

Installing the new version manually from the .deb worked
