Problem with voice activation mode.

I'm having a bit of a problem with voice activation mode. If I pause mid-sentence, in fact if I pause pretty much anywhere, and then resume, it fails to put a space between the last word of the phrase I just finished and the first word of the phrase I'm starting. So if I say, "Just before midnight (pause) he went to bed", the program gives me "Just before midnighthe went to bed".

Does anybody else have this problem? If so, is there an easy fix?
