New User with a setup issue

Although I followed the start-up video to set things up when I try to rip a CD, I get the message:

"Could not setup decoder for input file: " followed by a filename. It lists the error message for each file. After a short while it proceeds to play the tracks.

I am using Windows 11 with all the latest updates.

I would be grateful for ay help.

• Which decoder?
• What type of input file? You mentioned trying to extract from a CD.
• Please cite each (unique) error message, along with relevant context. If a log was output, quote it.

Without the specific details, it's like going to your car mechanic and simply saying ‘my car doesn't work’. Right; which part? What are the symptoms? Your mechanic can examine your car, though; other (remote) users can't examine your installation. Thus, it must be accurately described.
