When fractional scaling is enabled on gnome, it seems that freac scales to 2x regardless of setting.

As the title says, I have set 125% scaling due to having a 1080p screen on a laptop. Freac appears MASSIVE, and according to a screenshot i took of the window, it's rendering at 4108x3152. However, if scaling is set to 100% (normal), freac is opened and then scaling is set to 125%, freac will scale properly. However it will render massively big when closed and reopened.

I'm using the AUR package, on Arch Linux, Gnome 42, Intel Tigerlake i7-1165g7.

actually, thinking properly, even for 2x that'd be too big

Could you try the continuous build AppImage? I have added some HiDPI scaling improvements since the 1.1.6 release.

Still massive, titlebar says fre:ac - free audio converter v1.1.6 (20220805)

Can confirm this for the 20231029 build. Window is so large it doesn't fit the screen ;-) Everything seems normal if fractional scaling disabled or scale set to 100%.

Workaround: Set scaling to 100%, start fre:ac, set scaling back to 125% - everything looking normal this way and fre:ac seems to scale properly.

Ubuntu 22.04, Gnome 42.9, Wayland
