what is still needed for this library to leave beta?

Do you have a list of items needed in order for this library to leave beta?

I would like this library to be supported in .net standard as there are still projects out there that need the same since the parent project is closed.

@enyim Would like make this library compatable with .net 48 and .net 2.2 . I would like to provide a pull request for the same. Let me know your view
