Double Tap to "Fit to screen" from "Zoomed"

When viewing an image, you can double tap to zoom in to view the image's full size, right?

I would like to be able to double tap again to make the image go back to Fit to Screen / default view again a la Samsung Gallery functionality.

Hi @mincapweebertarian, double tapping to reset zoom to default should be working.

In ente, the first double tap initiates a moderate zoom, the second double tap further enlarges the image, and it's the third double tap that resets the zoom to fit the screen. On the other hand, Samsung Gallery opts for a quicker reset by resetting the zoom on the second double tap.

@ashilkn Well, the feature does not seem to be working on my Galaxy S23 Ultra (android version 14 / One UI 6.0). The initial double tap works, but subsequent double taps have no functionality at all.

Edit: I checked my Galaxy Tab S8+ (Android Version 14 / One UI 6.0) and it is functioning as it should.
