Hi,

The project is very useful and I would love to see it out of alpha/beta soon.

Just wanted to know the current state of development. When is a stable release targeted. Is this usable in its current form? what are the caveats?

Update- I tried the project but the example does not run. gives a javascript error. Can you point me to a stable commit?

Hi, Unfortunately I've left the project in a sorry state for a while now... I've been on vacation and right now I'm moving apartments and switching jobs, but I hope to resume coding in September.

I'll see if I can point you to a stable commit before that, there should be one not too many commits back.

Thanks for the encouragement :)

Hi @engelfrost, This is a very important initiative as there's nothing on the web that lets you edit multiline text in svg. What you have got so far is very impressive. Have you abandoned this project completely? Please tell me you haven't :) Hoping to see a stable release. I would also like to help here if I can get some pointers. The key issues seems to be cursor positioning and keyboard navigation.

Hi @jaichandra , this project is abandoned, sorry :(

Apart from the things you mention I think a better a data structure is necessary to prevent the script from becoming extremely slow when you have a longer text.
