Description Sending video causing memory leak, ending up with freeze then crash (w/wo hardware acc.).

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. open whatsapp-for-linux
  2. click on any chat
  3. send a random video
  4. in few secs memory filled up including swap.
  5. freeze & crash
