No sound at all

Description I have no sound on whatsapp with this application. No notification sound, no sound when playing status video. I can hear voice and audio messages.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: 1 - Install watsapp-for-linux via flatpak 2 - Receive a message or try to play a status video 3 - No notification sound is played neither the sound of the video.

Expected behavior Receive a sound notification when a message arrives (MOST IMPORTANT FOR ME) Be able to enable the speaker on status videos to enable the sound.

Environment

  • Distro Pop OS 22.04
  • Package Flatpak
  • Desktop Environment or Window Manager Gnome
  • Had to disable hardware acceleration because of the bug where the app doesn't open correctly showing just a blank window.
