[Issue] Overview High Latency

The issue

Overview has high latency when launching. After hitting the launch keybind, it takes a good 300ms to open.

There is also some artifacts that appear momentarily when searching, like the search menu got stretched. See attached video.

System Details:

-DISTRO: Arch CPU: R9 5900HX GPU: 6800M RAM: 16G SSD: Gen 3, 2/2 GBPS read=write (approximately)

Additional info

This is a clean install of Arch, and all packages are up to date. Overview was responsive at first but after a few reboots it became really slow. Other AGS things like the settings are a little slow but not out of the ordinary.

The cursor can also be a bit laggy, especially when there are no windows open (just the wallpaper). Sometimes it will be fast and responsive, other times it looks like its lagging for about 100ms before moving again

The only noticeable thing is the abrupt change when the size of the search results changes. maybe i can try giving it a fixed size

I'll see if i can visualize the time i press the super key and the time the overview launches

hopefully it isn't really 300ms delay lol because your hardware is far superior to mine

So I did a fresh install and used cachyOS this time. There is no more delay. Still some cursor lag though.
