I'm seeing the same thing - verified on two different fresh installs. 0.3.2 on pypi is missing the commit for #132 where fetch_val was added.

Actually it looks like my reference was committed after the release of 0.3.2. I can't tell since GitHub shows the release on 4/30 same as the commit.
