port to macos

how can i port it to macos??

The code is written to be portable, but I've never tried to build it on a mac. This probably wouldn't take much work (I think). Probably some small changes to the code itself, but not much. I don't have a Mac to play with though. I'll leave this issue open and maybe I will be able to add / test this in the future.
