Appears to cause access violation error in Cyberpunk 2077

Open Azulath opened this issue 1 year ago • 4 comments

Disclaimer: I have not done sufficient testing to properly ascertain whether or not it is caused by DLSSTweaks

I have noticed Cyberpunk 2077 crashing with an access violation after using DLSSTweaks together with the registry setting and DLSS (FG, RR, SS) 3.7.0. After removing DLSSTweaks, reverting the registry entry and restoring the old(er) DLSS files it does not seem to crash anymore.

I will keep this thread updated if I can confirm that it has indeed been caused by DLSSTweaks or not. For now, this is just something to keep on one's radar.

Please also note that the crash does not happen immediately, much rather it happens after 1.5h or so. Thus, it is hard to reproduce it.

Thanks for the input @Klemci! Does this mean the access violation is a known issue or is this just a suggestion from your side?

It's just that i know DLSSTweaks sometimes NEEDS his DLL to be renamed instead "only" using the regitry, like RDR2.., seing the nexus premade had this DLL name, i inform you.
