Overlapping labels - any changes expected?

Hi

When overlap is true, the labels overlap for any slices that are close together and/or have long labels. There is the option to set overlap to false as we know.

But when detecting that labels overlap, could they be positioned slightly offset so they don't overlap, so that you can still see the label? Is this something that can be added in?
