Coda 2.5 Emmet PHP renders different from HTML

When i use emmet on a php file it doe not render properly as in as html file, it does not matter the syntax i choose on the editor. Ex:

HTML "a" tag rendered

PHP "a" tag rendered

Child rendering on HTML and PHP

HTML

PHP

Since i work with lots of phtml & php files i'd like to now how to fix this.

I appreciate any kind of help
