Invisible controls

I downloaded the project and was able to build it in Xcode 6.3.2 on Mac Yosemite 10.10.3 running on various simulators and my iPhone 5 with iOS 8.3. The screen was solid white and nothing happened when I tapped anywhere.

On the Simulator, I saw logs indicating I was tapping on something (Mail,Facebook,Twitter) but the screen was still blank. I was not able to get any logs when using my device.
