MIDI output documentation
Had a very minor amount of trouble setting the output MIDI device. When I ran melrose I saw the following text:
MIDI available to melrōse:
input device 0 (:m i 0) = Midi Through:Midi Through Port-0 14:0
input device 1 (:m i 1) = Pixel 8:Pixel 8 MIDI 1 24:0
output device 0 (:m i 0) = Midi Through:Midi Through Port-0 14:0
output device 1 (:m i 1) = Pixel 8:Pixel 8 MIDI 1 24:0
output device 2 (:m i 2) = RtMidi Input Client:port-0 130:0
output device 3 (:m i 3) = RtMidi Input Client:port-0 131:0
The command to specify output is shown above as :m i 1 but this set the input. I tried looking at the help using :h :m but it didn't show anything:

Tried :m o 1 and that worked!
thank you for reporting this. it look lik a documentation mistake. the command should be ‘:m o 1’ for setting the output channel. Another option is to use the “set” function. I will fix the doc sometime next week
