A period in the mail address produce a dysfunctional access password
Hi . My mail name is [email protected] This address alone, among 6 other, fails in Thunderbird even after multiple tries with new rendered bridge passwords. The address works well in electron-mail with the same password I have fed to hydroxide. This makes me believe that it is the period in the address name that is the problem. Am I the only one that have noticed this? And is there something I can do?
My email also has a period in it, and hydroxide works just fine, so your issue probably stems from something else. Although, i'm using a proton.me address instead of a protonmail.com one, so that might be why.
Just tested an email address in the format of [email protected]
with Thunderbird and was unable to reproduce this issue with receiving messages via IMAP and sending via SMTP. All works as expected.
