Mixed case username causes login problems

Hi!

I just ran into a problem when authenticating with thunderbird. I logged in successfully with a mixed case user out of habit like : "CASEUser" and it successfully worked on the commandline and returns the bridge password. However if you then try to login with same mixed case password or making it lowercase, the login process from the mail program gets stuck forever on checking password. It is working correctly when using all lowercase.

Maybe common sense but it took me a few hours :D
