PM labels vs Thunderbird tags

Hi there,

thanks for this awesome project! I am struggling to get protonmail labels to work with thunderbird. I am currently using hydroxide via imap.

Is there any documentation how to setup hydroxide/thunderbird that the PM labels are integrated into thunderbird?

It seems like Thunderbird uses label names such as $Label1, $Label2 and so on. This won't work well with hydroxide.

Hm, which other mail programs are out there that work with hydroxide and PM labels?

In this post by the ProtonMail team they said that labels would get interpreted as folders by the email client, is this the way that ProtonMail behaves or is it just bridge specific behavior?

I would like to know because if this is bridge specific behavior then hydroxide could implement such a feature to convert labels into tags, which is something that I'm very interested in.
