Is there a plan for a release in the near future?

I got bitten by #253 yesterday and it did take quite some time to figure it out.

Since there are many commits on the main branch since the last release, is there a plan to do a new release in the near future?

Of course using a git dependency is always an option and that's what I'll be doing, but a release could safe new users of this crate a bit of debugging time.

Keep up the good work! It is really a pleasure to work with this crate!
